Cold-climate heat pump mini-splits
Modern ductless heat pumps produce useful heat well below freezing. For many homes they become the main heat in spring and fall and a backup to the boiler in deep winter.
Indoor unit options
Wall-mounted heads are the most common. Ceiling cassettes and slim ducted units are available when you would rather not see the equipment.
Placement and line routing
We plan where the heads go for airflow and where the line sets run so they are short, protected and tidy, usually inside a painted line-hide channel on the exterior.
Electrical and permits
A dedicated circuit and disconnect for the outdoor unit, and the required permits and inspection with your town.
Ductless repair and maintenance
Cleaning of the indoor coil, blower wheel and filters, refrigerant checks and repairs on all major brands, including systems we did not install.

Walk-through and quote
We look at each room, the exterior walls, the electrical panel and where the outdoor unit can sit, then price the system by the job.

System design
Head sizes are matched to each room. Oversizing a mini-split is a common mistake that leaves rooms humid, so we size carefully.

Installation
Mounting the heads, drilling the wall penetration, running line sets, drain and wiring, setting the outdoor unit, pressure testing and vacuum, then charging and startup. A single zone is usually a one-day job.
